Ahrar MP: Excluding candidates from participation in next elections behind their attempts to reveal corruption

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Jawad al-Jobouri, of al-Ahrar bloc stated that excluding the candidates from the participation in the next elections are due to their efforts to reveal corruption.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The parliament must not be accused of protecting the public fund,” noting that “The duty of the parliament is observatory and some of the MPs fought corruption where some judicial and media institutions did not support them.”

“Unfortunately, the Iraqi State keeps silence over wasting the public fund and those who reveal the means of wasting it are rejected and eliminated,” he concluded.
