FM, Kuwaiti FM discuss preparations for Arab Summit in Kuwait

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Sheikh Sabah Al Khalid Al Hamad Al Sabah, received on March 22, 2014 Iraq’s Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari.

A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received by IraqiNews.com cited “During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral relations and preparations for the Arab Summit due to be held in Kuwait, they also exchanged views on the importance of creating a better atmosphere for the Arab Summit.

“The Minister stressed Iraq’s desire to support the efforts of the Kuwaiti presidency for the success of the summit and come out with resolutions that support the joint Arab action and strategic issues, especially the Palestinian issue, the Syrian crisis, and combating extremism and terrorism,” the statement concluded.
