6 water projects on the way in Wassit
WASSIT / IraqiNews.com: Six water projects worth over 2 billion Iraqi dinars have been referred to Iraqi companies, a local official said on Thursday. “Potable water networks will be established at 2.151 billion Iraqi dinars,” a media director in Wassit province, Majid al-Itabi, told IraqiNews.com news agency, adding that the projects will be financed from the 2008 supplementary budget. The projects will be carried out at al-Dabouni district (55 km north of Kut city, al-Hafriya (105 km north of Kut) and al-Ahrar (25 km west of Kut), Itabi pointed out.
