VP sponsors 1st economic forum on Sunday

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The 1st National Economic Forum will be held in Baghdad next Sunday (Mar. 22), to run for two days, under the auspices of Vice President Tareq al-Hashemi, a source from Hashemi’s office said on Sunday. “Several government officials as well as Iraqi and foreign experts will attend the forum at al-Rasheed hotel,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The forum aims at crystallizing an economic philosophy that fits Iraq’s current and future circumstances,” he said.
