PM receives representatives of Brazilian, Korean firms

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki received in Baghdad on Saturday a delegation representing Brazilian and South Korean companies working in the field of reconstruction and oil projects, according to a statement by Maliki’s office. “The delegation expressed their companies’ readiness to build thousands of housing units in Iraq and launch cooperation in different industrial, health and construction domains,” read the statement as received by IraqiNews.com news agency. Maliki has stressed during the meeting that his government attaches top priority to the housing sector and that it was ready to negotiate with these companies to embark on building housing compounds as soon as possible.
