Iraq seeks to boost trade volume with Turkey
BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Minister of Trade Abdelfalah al-Sudani on Thursday said that Iraq seeks to increase its trade volume with neighboring Turkey to $20 billion. “The remark came during Sudani’s meeting with a group of Iraqi and Turkish businessmen,” according to a statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. On Monday (March 23), Turkish President Abdullah Gul arrived on an official visit to the capital Baghdad, the first by a Turkish head of state to neighboring Iraq in 33 years. The last was by Fahri Koruturk in 1976.
