Former Minister criticizes mechanism in dealing with oil leakage in Tigris River

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Former Transport Minister, Amir Abduljabbar Ismael, criticized the mechanism in dealing with the oil leakage in Tigris River.

In his personal account on Facebook, Ismael said “The oil leakage had to be reloaded by some sucking machines and re-use it due to its importance and benefit.”

“Burning it to result in losing the oil in addition to affecting the citizens, animals and polluting the river,” he added noting that “The Oil Minister had to be informed about maintaining the oil pipeline that was leaking where the specialized company did not maintain the oil pipelines for several years.”
