ISIL leader killed near Syrian border
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The terrorist leader, Turki Ali Ibraheem al-Rashidi, of the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant was killed near the Iraqi-Syrian borders on Wednesday.
The Joint Operations Command declared in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The security forces carried out a security operation basing on intelligence information in Saed Ahmed area at the Iraqi-Syrian borders that resulted in killing a terrorist leader of ISIL.”
”The terrorist leader was wearing an explosive vest, but the security forces succeeded in killing him before he managed to detonate himself,” the statement concluded.
