Tanker bomb explodes in southern Tikrit

Salah-il-Din (IraqiNews.com) A tanker bomb went off in southern Tikrit on Saturday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The bombing targeting a joint Iraqi Army and police checkpoint in Dijail district, killing 4 and injuring 7 others among the checkpoint elements.”

“A security force transported the injured to the hospital for treatment and the dead to the morgue,” the source concluded.
