MPs within Mutahidon Coalition support 3rd term for Maliki, says Askari

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The leading figure within the State of Law Coalition revealed that some members within Mutahidon Coalition expressed their desire to support granting a 3rd term for the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki.

He stated to Iraqi News “The meeting among Allawi, Nijaifi and Barzani in Erbil over rejecting a 3rd term for Maliki is not a new issue.”

“Some political blocs within the Kurdistani Alliance expressed their readiness to join a government headed by Maliki,” he concluded.
