Iraqi Ambassador to Washington visits US Chamber of Commerce

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Washington, Luqman Abdul Rahim Alfeili met the invitation sent to him from the Chaldean – U.S. Chamber of Commerce in the state of Michigan.

A statement by the Foreign Ministry received by IraqiNews.com cited “The Ambassador gave a speech during which he confirmed the call on the Iraqi government’s efforts in the protection of minorities in Iraq, calling for the strengthening of relations between the Iraqi community and the motherland.”

“The Ambassador also pointed to the importance of the development of trade relations between Iraq and the companies run by the sons of the Iraqi community in the United States,” the statement concluded.
