US Vice President Joe Biden urges all Iraqi parties to face challenges together

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The US Vice-President, Joe Biden, phoned the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, on Saturday.

A statement by the White House reviewed by Iraqi News cited “Biden phoned Maliki and stressed the importance gathering all sides in the next parliament to face the challenges that Iraq faces.”

“Biden congratulated Iraqis on their participation in the elections,” the statement concluded.
