Maliki, Sudanese President’s Envoy discuss cooperation in energy, agricultural fields [05/18/2014]

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Premier, Nouri al-Maliki called to develop relations between Iraq and the Sudan at all levels, particularly in the fields of energy, oil, agriculture and investment. A statement by the Maliki’s office received by Iraqi News cited “During a meeting in Baghdad with the envoy of the Republic of Sudan, Ahmed Saad Omar and his accompanying delegation, Maliki confirmed that depth of the brotherly relations between the two peoples of Iraq and Sudan.”

“For his part, the envoy to Sudan’s president expressed, during the meeting, “the desire of the Government of Sudan and its people to develop relations with Iraq, adding that there are areas of cooperation can be invested and developed at the highest levels,” the statement concluded.
