4 tons of food stuff destroyed in Karbala

Iraq-Trade KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: The health surveillance division in Karbala on Wednesday destroyed more than four tons of local and imported food stuff, as they were unsuitable for human consumption, according to the city’s health care director. “The food stuff was confiscated after it was identified as unsuitable for human consumption,” Dr. Raad Khudhayer Abbass told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The terminated materials consisted of yogurt and canned meat,” he said. He pointed out that the campaign in this regard will continue in an attempt to avoid diseases during the summer. The holy city of Karbala lies 100 km southwest of Baghdad. MH (P)/SR 1
