White Bloc: Forgery in elections behind losing elections

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The White Bloc justified its loss to the forgery cases that took place in the parliamentary elections.

The Secretary General of the Bloc Jamal al-Batiekh stated to IraqiNews.com “Among the reasons of our loss is the forgery that took place in the elections in Diwaniya and Wasit,” noting that “We submitted a request to the Independent High Electoral Commission but the request was procrastinated by IHEC.”

“The age of the White Bloc is less than three years and it has a patriotic independent affiliation since it did not ally with any of the major blocs,” Bateikh added, noting “We did not think of winning or losing the elections but we wished to make use of this experience.”
