Barzani conducts visit to European countries

Erbil (IraqiNews.com) The President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani has begun European tour on Wednesday. The tour includes the visit to France and Italy to discuss the bilateral relations.

A statement by the Kurdistan Regional Government received by IraqiNews.com cited “The President, Barzani will meet during his travel the President of France, Francois Hollande, as well as other top officials in France.”

He will also visit the Vatican, Pope Francis I to discuss the political situation in Iraq in general and in the Kurdistan Region in particular. Barzani then, will meet with senior Italian officials, according to the statement.
