INIC to present 500 projects at London conference

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The media director of the Iraqi National Investment Commission (INIC) on Tuesday said that it will present 500 investment projects during a London-based conference, where Iraq is expected to participate with a high-ranking delegation headed by Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki. “The projects are in the fields of electricity, oil, water, environment, and other services,” Hanan Jassem told IraqiNews.com news agency. On Monday (April 27), Iraqi government Spokesperson Ali al-Dabbagh said that Maliki will start an official visit to Britain on Wednesday leading a high-profile delegation to attend a conference on investment in Iraq Iraqi and foreign businessmen and investors will participate in the event to discuss investment opportunities in the country.
