CBI dollar sales down to $473m this week

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Demand for the dollar dropped in the Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) auctions for this week, reaching $473.924 million compared to $512.388 million last week at 1,170 Iraqi dinars per dollar, a stable rate for the 14th week in a row. “This week’s total demand on cash reached $5.555 million at an exchange rate of 1,176 Iraqi dinars per dollar while foreign transfers registered $468.369 million at an exchange rate of 1,173 Iraqi dinars per dollar,” according to a CBI news bulletin received by IraqiNews.com news agency.
