Girl survives kidnap ordeal

KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: A girl was freed by police forces two days after she was kidnapped by two men in Karbala province, according to a local police chief. “The girl was released during a raid on a house in al-Hindiya city (20 km east of Karbala city),” Staff Maj. Gen. Ali Jassem told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Two kidnappers were captured during the raid,” Jassem noted, adding that the girl was returned to her family.
