5 wanted men nabbed near Kirkuk
KIRKUK / IraqiNews.com: Five wanted persons on Monday were arrested during a wide-scale raid near Kirkuk city, according to a local security source. “This morning, a force from the Criminal Investigations Department arrested five wanted men during a raid on several houses in al-Numaniya district (40 km north of Kut city),” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Those arrested are wanted on terror and criminal charges,” the source pointed out. Kirkuk, an oil-rich and mixed city of Kurds, Turkmen, Christians and Arabs, lies 180 km southeast of the Iraqi capital Baghdad. SS (P) 1
