Locally-made rocket found in Kirkuk

KIRKUK / IraqiNews.com: A locally-made rocket on Wednesday was found in Kirkuk’s al-Huweija district, a source from the city’s joint coordination center said. “At 10:30 this morning, police forces found a locally-made rocket and its launch pad in al-Saray area, southwestern Kirkuk,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. The rocket was defused and no damage was reported, the source noted. Two fake devices were found in two different parts of al-Kornish Street and removed by patrol personnel, the source added.
