7 arrested in Kirkuk

KIRKUK / IraqiNews.com: Seven persons on Monday were captured during a security operation in Kirkuk province, according to a local police chief. “A joint force from the local police and the Iraqi army conducted a search raid in al-Riyad district (45 km southwest of Kirkuk),” Brig. Sarhad Qadir told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Seven men were arrested during the operation,” the official noted, adding that the arrests were made in light of intelligence tips.
