U.S. State Department publishes John Kerry’s view of Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) The U.S. State Department published a view of Baghdad on its Facebook page as seen from the helicopter carrying U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry to the airport after a series of meetings yesterday with Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki and other Iraqi national leaders.

The meeting with Maliki included discussions about Iraq’s political processes and the need to swiftly form a government. U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry expressed appreciation Iraqi leaders’ commitment to the constitutionally prescribed political process.
