33,000 volunteer in Wasit to defend Iraq

Wasit (IraqiNews.com) The Deputy Chairman of the Security Committee within Wasit Provincial Council Hashim al-Awadi assured that the more than 30,000 persons have volunteered in Wasit Province to join the security forces.

Awadi stated to IraqiNews.com “The number of volunteers who gathered in front of the National Security Department in Wasit exceeded 33,165 persons till now,” noting that “These volunteers are willing to join the security forces to defend Iraq.”
