Civilian shot in Ninewa

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: One civilian was shot by unidentified gunmen in Ninewa province, a local security source said on Sunday, adding that U.S. forces have defused an explosive charge in Mosul city. “Unknown gunmen shot a civilian in Raas al-Gaada area (western Mosul) before they fled to an unknown destination,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Meanwhile, U.S. forces defused an improvised explosive device (IED) in al-Yarmuk neighborhood, causing no casualties,” the source added.
