4 policemen wounded in suicide bombing in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: A suicide bomber wearing an explosive belt blew himself up targeting a police patrol of the Emergency Police 3rd Contingent in central Mosul city, wounding four of the patrol’s personnel including the contingent’s commander, a security source from Ninewa province said on Monday. “The incident took place in Babal-Beedh area, central Mosul,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. He did not mention further details, but pointed out that the injured were admitted to hospital for treatment. Mosul, the capital city of Ninewa province, lies 405 km north of Baghdad. MH (P)/SR 1
