Iranian Minister: Enemies unable to disrupt Iraqi unity

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Iranian Intelligence Minister Seyyed Mahmoud Alawi underlined that the enemies of the Iraqi nation cannot disrupt the Arab country’s unity through their hue and cry policies.

?The enemies of Iraqi people cannot disunite the Arab nation and expose the country to disintegration,? Alawi said in a statement reviewed by IraqiNews.com.

He reiterated that the Iraqi nation is a vivid and vigilant nation who has always defended its dignity.

The Iranian intelligence minister recalled that when the British government tried to impose its will on the Iraqi nation the people of that country defended their independence and today they are present in the scene and they are defending their independence.

The Islamic Republic of Iran as a friend and brother country of Iraq cannot be indifferent towards these country?s problems, but we have interfered and we will not interfere in Iraq’s internal affairs while providing spiritual and political support for independence and dignity in Iraq, ? Alawi said.
