Chairman of Babel PC survives assassination

Babel (IraqiNews.com) The head of Babel provincial council, Raad al-Jobouri, survived Sunday; an assassination attempt targeted his convoy by mortar shells, in Jurf al-Sakhar sub-district, north of Hilla.

Security source stated to Iraqi News on Sunday “Al-Jobouri’s motorcade by mortar shells, in Jurf al-Sakhar district.”

“The mortar attack caused only material damage to the motorcade wheels without any other casualties,” the source concluded.
