Grenade wounds 4 civilians in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Four civilians were wounded when an unidentified gunman threw a hand-grenade at a gathering of local residents in western Mosul city on Thursday, a police source in Ninewa said. “The gunman managed to escape after the blast that took place in the area of Ras al-Jada, western Mosul,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The explosion did not target any security forces in the area,” the source said, adding the wounded were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
