Campaign launched to hunt down wanted men

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Police forces in Ninewa have launched a wide-scale security campaign to hunt down wanted persons in the province, a local security source said on Saturday. “This morning, a national police force launched a raid-and-search campaign that included the areas of al-Kornish, al-Midan and al-Sirgkhana in downtown Mosul,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Tight security measures have been put in place,” the source noted, adding that vehicles and pedestrians were barred from crossing the old bridge that links the western coast to the areas covered in the campaign.
