Maliki rejects Presidential candidate who wants to divide Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, said that he will reject the nomination of any candidate for the President Post who calls for the division of Iraq.

In his weekly speech on Wednesday, Maliki said “The President Post that is allocated to the Kurds requires the President to preserve the unity of Iraq and we reject any nominee who calls for dividing Iraq or think about it.”
