Iran describes nominating parliament Speaker as "Vital step"

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Marziyeh Afkham here on Wednesday described the appointment of Salim Al-Jobouri as the new Iraqi parliament speaker, a vital step towards completion of political process in this Arab country.

Pointing to the current sensitive situation in Iraq, Afkham underscored that the Iraqi lawmakers` measures to hold parliament sessions and appoint the presiding board carried a strong message for the opponents of political process and terrorists.
