Kurdish PM review political developments with Russian ambassador

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: Kurdish Prime Minister Negervan Barzani received the new Russian ambassador in Iraq Mr. Valerian Shoifuf, with whom he discussed the latest political developments in the country, according to a statement released by the Kurdistan Regional Government Kurdistan RegionG) on Friday. Barzani congratulated Mr. Shoifuf on the occasion of taking office as a new Russian Ambassador in Iraq and expressed Kurdistan RegionG readiness to cooperate and collaborate with him. On his part, Mr. Shoifuf expressed his happiness for visiting Kurdistan region and thanked Kurdistan RegionG for its continuous support to the Russian consulate in Arbil. The Kurdish premier emphasized that Kurdistan RegionG supports all the countries that opened consulates in Kurdistan region. He spoke on Kurdistan RegionG goals to support companies and investors by creating suitable situations for investment, economic development and trade movement. They discussed the current political situations in Iraq and Kurdistan region, where Barzani emphasized the Kurdish political leadership commitment to the Iraqi Constitution by resorting to talks and peaceful ways to solve the suspended issues.
