Amr Moussa asserts strengthening Iraq’s leading role

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa asserted the importance of strengthening Iraq’s leading role within the Arab-Iraqi relations and supporting the country in various domains for its security and economic stability, according to a statement of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) media website (Pukmedia). Moussa on Thursday (Mar. 26) after a meeting of senior officials of the Economic and Social Council within preparations for the 21st summit next Monday and Tuesday in Doha said that “the AL seeks to guarantee the Iraqi national reconciliation.” He underlined the importance to help the country economically in this stage for the sake of new Iraq “which every Arab country pines for it.” SH (P) 1
