Expected visit by Jordan PM to Iraq – official

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Jordanian Prime Minister Nader al-Dhahabi is expected to pay a visit to Iraq soon, a media advisor for Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki said on Thursday. “Premier Maliki and King Abdullah II of Jordan have agreed during a meeting on the sidelines of the Doha Arab summit that Prime Minister Dhahabi of Jordan will visit Iraq this month,” Yassin Majeed told IraqiNews.com news agency. Madjeed added that Maliki will visit Russia this month if no date was set for Dhahabi’s visit to Iraq. Sami al-Askari, a lawmaker from the Shiite United Iraqi Alliance (UIA) told IraqiNews.com that the Iraqi prime minister will embark on a tour that will take him to Russia, France and Britain this month to discuss economic and investment issues in Iraq.
