Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The State of Law Coalition revealed on Saturday that they had discussed substitutes for its leader, Nouri al-Maliki to fill the post of Prime Minister, pointing out that the replacements don’t have the same “qualities of al-Maliki.”

Deputy coalition, Haitham al-Jubouri said, in an interview for the program, “declared secrets,” which aired by “Alsumaria TV channel”, that “The State of Law coalition discussed replacements of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki to fill the post of Prime Minister; many ideas have been put forward to be discussed in this regard.”

Jubouri said that “it was a discussion about five substitutes from the National Alliance and the State of Law Coalition, but when we compared them with al-Maliki and his experience, we discovered that the replacements don’t have the same features of Maliki,” asserting that “the state of law is the biggest bloc.”

The MP for the Liberal bloc, Mazen Mezni revealed on Saturday (August 9, 2014), that the leaders of the National Alliance will hold a meeting in the coming hours to choose a candidate for prime minister, pointing out that the chances of President of the Alliance, Ibrahim al-Jaafari, are very big. He noted that the state of law Alliance is the largest bloc.
