Wassit provincial council to hand over administrative responsibilities Sun.

WASSIT / IraqiNews.com: The chairman of Wassit’s provincial council on Tuesday said that it will hand over the administrative responsibilities to the newly-elected council on Sunday. “An official ceremony will be held on Sunday, April 12, to mark the handover of the civil administration to the new 28-member council,” Mohammed Mohsin Jaber told IraqiNews.com news agency. Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki’s Dawlat al-Qanoon (State of Law) Coalition has 13 seats in the new council, the Shahid al-Mihrab List (six seats), al-Ahrar movement (three), the Iraqi National List (INL) (three), and the Iraqi Constitutional Party (three).
