Turkey congratulates Iraq on new PM nomination

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Turkey congratulated Iraq on Tuesday for the nomination of Haider al-Ebadi as the new prime minister of the country, said a statement released by the Turkish Foreign Ministry.

A new government will be a positive step in facing the crisis in northern Iraq, said the Foreign Ministry in the written statement, adding that “the quick formation of the Iraqi government will make an immense contribution to overcoming the crisis the country has been struggling with.”

The ministry also called on Iraqi leaders to act together and support the new government. /End/
