URGENT: UN Security Council to impose sanctions against financiers of terrorist groups in Iraq and Syria

(IraqiNews.com) The United Nations Security Council voted unanimously on Friday evening to impose sanctions against those who finance and supply terrorist groups with weapons in Iraq and Syria.

Iraqiya TV channel said, in a Newsflash followed by IraqiNews.com, that “The UN Security Council held a special session to dismantle gangs of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria under Chapter VI. It was voted on the British draft resolution to impose sanctions against all who finance or supply terrorist groups with weapons in Iraq and Syria.”
