Urgent – ISF liberate Barwana from ISIL

Anbar (IraqiNews.com) The Command of the Jazira and Badiya Operations confirmed the liberation of the Barwana district within Haditha city of western Anbar province from the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant.

A statement by the J&B Operations Command received by IraqiNews.com cited “The Iraqi Security Forces supported by tribesmen and air-force launched a wide military operation in the northern and eastern areas of Haditha city to liberate Barwana district completely from the terrorists of the ISIL.”

The statement added “The operation also resulted in huge casualties among the terrorists of the ISIL,” stressing that “Haditha dam has been completely secured after being a target for many attacks during the last few days.” /End/
