Obama to present plans to fight ISIS to leaders of Congress

Washington (IraqiNews.com) On Sunday, United States President Barack Obama stated during an interview broadcast on NBC that he will present his plan to fight against ISIS militants in Iraq during his meeting with leaders of Congress this week, underlying that ISIS could and may eventually become a threat to the United States.

In his interview Obama said that he will give a speech on Tuesday to clarify a plan to fight ISIS militants and subsequently on Wednesday, he will meet with leaders of Congress. He added that “I only want the American people to understand the nature of the threat coming from ISIS and how the government will be dealing with it.”

He also stressed that there are no imminent threats but the group has drawn on foreign militants from western countries wherein someone can easily travel to the United States without any trouble.”
