Talabani, Iranian envoy discuss cooperation

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi President Jalal al-Talabani on Saturday discussed with the Iranian ambassador to the country, Hassan Kazemi-Qomi, means of boosting bilateral relations. “The meeting tackled means of strengthening relations between Iraq and the Islamic Republic of Iran in a way that serves common interests,” according to a statement published on the web site of the Iraqi presidency. “Issues of mutual concern were also raised during the meeting,” the statement added.
