10 new European consulates in Arbil by 2009 – official

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: About 10 new European consulates will open in the Iraqi Kurdistan region by this year’s end, according to the autonomous region’s representative to the European Union (EU) on Saturday. “Greece and Latvia are preparing to open consulates in Arbil. Belgium, the Netherlands and Denmark are also considering the step,” Borhan al-Jaf told IraqiNews.com news agency.
