Urgent – Iraqi Football Team U 23 qualifies for 16 teams round of Incheon Asiad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Football Team U 23 won its match against its Kuwaiti counterpart and qualified as the first team of its group within the 2014 Asian Games held currently in Incheon in the Republic of Korea.

The match ended with (3-0) for the benefit of the Iraqi team.

Iraq scored the first goal at 16th minute of the first half through midfielder Humam Tariq who returned to score the second goal for him and Iraq at the 62nd minute of the match while forward Marwan Hussein concluded the result for the Iraqi team by scoring the third goal before the end of the match.

Iraq won nine points from three victories on the teams of its group represented by Nepal, Japan and Kuwait to qualify at the top of its group for the 16 teams round. /End/
