22 detainees released in Ramadi

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: Twenty-two detainees at the al-Ramadi Police Department were released after proved not involved in charges pressed against them on Thursday, an official security source said. “The detainees were released by virtue of an investigating prosecutor after they were not proved involved in any criminal acts,” Maj. Raheem Zein, the Anbar Police Department’s information chief, told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The released persons were handed over to their relatives in their respective residential sections,” Zein added. Ramadi, the capital city of the predominantly Sunni province of al-Anbar, lies 110 km west of Baghdad. AmR (P) 1
