Urgent / Toll from Falluja car bomb reaches 7

FALLUJA / IraqiNews.com: The commander of the Sahwa forces in the Garma district survived a suicide car bombing in Falluja, a source from the city’s police said Saturday, explaining that the blast left three dead of his guards and four injured. “The attack took place at around 6:30 p.m. today,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The attack targeted the motorcade of Colonel Saad Abbass, the commander of the Sahwa forces in the Garma district, east of Falluja” he said. “Three of the Sahwa commander’s guards, including two officers, were killed, while four civilians who were at the incident’s location were wounded,” he added. The source did not mention further details. Earlier, a source from the Falluja police said that the commander of the Sahwa forces in the Garma district survived a suicide car bombing in the city, explaining that the blast left two dead and four injured.
