3 arrested in Arbil for selling child’s kidney
ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: Three persons were arrested in Arbil on charges of attempting to sell a child’s kidney, the city’s police chief said on Sunday. “Three Arab citizens from Baghdad brought a child’s kidney to sell in Arbil last month,” Brig. Abdulkhaleq Talaat told IraqiNews.com news agency. Meanwhile, Talaat added, two persons were arrested for killing the guard of a travel agent with the purpose of stealing, and two others were arrested for killing a Christian woman in the district of Enkawa, northern Arbil. Enkawa, 5 km northwest of Arbil, is an area with a Christian majority. “Another young man was arrested for involvement in 20 theft scores in several neighborhoods in Arbil,” said Talaat, adding the arrests were made last month.
