Former director released in Wassit after one day in detention

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Police forces on Wednesday released the former director of the oil products distribution company – Wassit branch after one day in detention, said a security source from the province. “Engineer Kareem Aziz was released on bail,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency without specifying the bail’s amount. “The arrest came after a petition filed by the integrity commission in Kut city against a number of the company’s employees in Wassit province,” the source said without giving further details.
