Iraq will repay its debt to Kuwait within 18 months says PM Haidar Abadi
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) On Wednesday the Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi announced that Iraq will meet all its financial obligations towards Kuwait within a year and a half.
The statement issued by al-Abadi’s Office said, “Iraq is determined to meet all its financial obligations towards the State of Kuwait and will repay the debt within a year and a half,”
“There is no need to open discussions about this matter.” Abadi said in the statement.
