URGENT: Casualties in car bombing in al-Sadr, eastern Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) On Wednesday, a source within the police force stated, that a number of people fell victims to a suicide car bombing in in al-Sadr neighborhood.

The source informed IraqiNews, “This evening, a suicide car bombing resulted in killing and injuring a number of people in al-Sadr neighborhood in eastern Baghdad.”

“Security forces shortly blockaded the area of the explosion and prevented civilians from approaching the area. The injured were sent to a near hospital to receive medical treatments and the dead bodies were taken to the forensic medicine authority.” He said.
